BGSBU employees hold dharna in Rajouri Term Telecom agencies, GREF responsible for accident, demand magisterial probe Rajouri, March 28 Demanding Magisterial probe in Tata Magic accident on Rajouri Thanamandi Road, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University officials today hold dharna in front of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri’s office terming telecom companies and GREF responsible for the accident. The employees demanding immediate compensation to the deceased families. Following Nimaz-Jinazah of BGSB University employee and Imam of University Mosque Qari Manzoor Hussain who died in yesterday accident, all BGSB Employees under the leadership of Aftab Mir and Zakir Malik hold dharna in front of Deputy Commissioners Office Rajouri following which a deputation comprising Aftab Mir, Zakir Malik, Mujeeb Ahmad, Mohammad Amin, Asif Rashid and Mohammad Sayeed a local leader met Deputy Commissioner on behalf of all employees of BGSB University and demanded magisterial probe in the accident. Employees told DDC that the accident was happened due to negligence of Telecom Companies who have dugged up the road for installing telecom lines and also term GREF responsible for the same. They said that FIR has already been lodged but concerned Telecom agencies , R&B & GREF should also be kept party and they name should be included in FIR. They said that if the accident has happened due to their negligence probe action must be taken against the erring departments. Demanding immediate compensation to deceased families, University supported by local leaders and social workers of Rajouri also took up the matter of bad condition of University Road and overloading of vehicles on this road. Employees said that Traffic Police is intentionally not taking any action against the drivers due to reason better known to Traffic Police. They said that Drivers on University Road are not allowing another vehicles to ply which results in overloading. They demanded immediate repair of BGSBU Road and deputing of vehicles on this road to avoid accidents and overloading. They also demanding action the Traffic Police who are allowing such overloading on this road. After listening patiently, Deputy Commissioner has assured magisterial probe in accident, compensation through MVD Act , deployment of more vehicles on BGSBU Road, deployment of Traffic Police and repair of University roads. DC said that all these matter will be taken up to the concerned quarters following which BGSBU employee call off dharna . However employees have threatened that if administration took the matter lightly, University employee will initiate agitation.
