BGSC Parents: Now that we are getting into meet season, I wanted to send out these instructions for signing up for the meets and replying to the automatically generated emails notifying you of your swimmers’ eligibility to sign up. If you did not receive one tonight for the Fort Wayne Invite for each of your eligible swimmers, please check your junkmail or spam folder. The automated emails use the email for the parents that was put into the Active Registration system when you signed up your swimmer. If they should go to a different address, you will need to Login to your account and Edit your swimmers’ information. You should have received one invitation to date: The Fort Wayne Aquatics Fall Classic on 10/25-27/13. The deadline to sign up for this meet (no qualifying times) is Sunday 9/29 at midnight. Coming soon to your email will be the sign up for the Sand Otter Developmental meet on October 24th. I found out today the DiSalle Developmental meet is cancelled this year. If that was a meet you were planning to attend, you can take it off your calendar. For those new to the sign up process or if you just need a reminder to get you started: *****If your swimmer qualifies as an outreach member: DO NOT use the automated signup. Forward your automated email with your swimmers’ name and days of attendance to Carolyn then delete the automated email you received. 1. Make sure you allow the pictures from our automatically generated email to be downloaded (right-click on the box) 2. Click on the ‘Respond Now’ picture box 3. If this is your first time signing up for a meet online, you need to sign in as a ‘New User’; If you have signed up for meets before, please sign in with the right hand section, “to your Active account” 4. When you do this, you can use your user name and password from when you registered your athlete with the program (if you have not yet done this, now would be a great time to do so!) You will need a debit or credit card when you sign up online. Nothing will be billed to your card until after the meet. *****Please remember, the coaches will select your swimmers’ events, you select the day/s that fit into your schedule. The Fort Wayne meet is about an hour and a half away. The 8&unders will only swim Saturday morning. There are no time standards for this meet, so all swimmers are eligible. If you are not sure, please ask George, Nancy or myself if your swimmer should attend. This is a great meet to get your season started and I’d like to see as many swimmers in attendance at this meet as possible! Please let me know if you have any questions! Carolyn
