☾ ☆ BIG BOI *☆ ☾ trying so hard to find a place to call "home" ~~ Please share! Sitting in a crate at Manhattan ACC, Big-Boi is just not understanding what’s happened to him. Brought in against his will, he was darted, has a cherry eye, and then to make matters even worse, he caught the dreaded shelter “cold”. But despite it all, Big-Boi tried so hard. When it came time for his behavioral eval, he was described as “puppy like” and thought the leash was just something new to play with. He guarded his food, trying to eat it all up before that hand took it away. And when that strange dog came into the room, he didn’t mind and walked over to play. Soooo, can we say big overgrown puppy! But growling at the plastic hand got him a New Hope rating and he can only be pulled by a rescue. The ACC doesn’t want to spend the time getting Big-Boi to settle in and they’ve put him on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. So tonight, Big-Boi needs an experienced person to take him in hand, show him the ropes about how life really is, reassure him that his food won’t be taken away, and show him that playing is a good thing—but not all the time! If you’re that special person, then start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Big-Boi.
