BIG PRAYER REQUEST. Pastor just told Jerome there was a confirmed case of Ebola at the hospital in Wellington today (a suburb of Freetown) and they shut the hospital down. Wellington is 30 minutes from us. The church and orphanage are located in this small village/town. Ebola is not an airborne disease. In its dormant stages it cant be contracted. Only if you come into contact with someone who is deathly sick, or handle a corpse contaminated with Ebola or eat bush meat that is contaminated can you be infected. If you contract Ebola you die. There is no cure. The U.S. Embassy is having a meeting on July 24th about what steps need to be taken next. Please pray for the people here. Many are not taking it seriously and so it is spreading faster :(
