BIG SHOWERS NOW, COLD AND SHOWERY FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS Evening - TopicsExpress

BIG SHOWERS NOW, COLD AND SHOWERY FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS Evening all. We currently have some big showers moving through with sleet, hail and snow being reported. These are expected to clear relatively quickly to a very cold night! Tomorrow expect a hard morning frost as temps drop as low as -4deg tonight. The day should be clear to start with, but later in the day a cold SW change occurs, bringing a period of showers and snow to 300m on Banks Peninsula. Expect highs of 10deg. Thursday is looking chilly. Winds will be from the SW with periods of showers likely throughout the day. The snow level will slowly lift to 600m as the day wears on. Expect highs of 11deg. Friday is looking good! High pressure rolls in meaning frosts are likely. Clear skies and light winds will be the story of Friday and the weekend. Highs will be between 10 and 12deg. So, thats a wrap for now, these showers will clear out soon. Have a great night and Leighton will be with you in the morning! -Josh
