They now try to come out with all the wayang etc etc….But in politics your closest allies are also your worst enemies. Who can slap you? Not the stranger, but the one nearest to you. When the heat gets real hot, your allies will sell you out to keep their hands clean. Who in the cabinet has the biggest stake in Operation Coldstore? Only PM LHL the son of LKY. Say what you will, the civil service and our police are still oriented by laws, when the day of reckoning comes, no one is going to dirty their hands for a government on the way down. If they dont clean themselves, eventually someone else will, justice is late but never forgotten.
