BLACKMAN CHARTER TOWNSHIP RESOLUTION #06-2014-0310 SALARY RESOLUTION FOR THE POSITION OF TREASURER WHEREAS: Pursuant to MCL 41.95(3), which provides that in a Township that does not hold an annual meeting, the salary for officers composing the Township Board shall be determined by the Township Board, and WHEREAS: The Board of Blackman Charter Township deems it desirable to adjust the salary of the Township Treasurer to ensure that compensation for this position becomes equitable and commensurate with the duties of the said elective office, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that as of March 10, 2014 the annual salary for the Township Treasurer shall be $49,260.00 At a regular meeting of the Blackman Charter Township Board of Trustees, County of Jackson, and State of Michigan held in the Township Hall of the said Township at 6:00 p.m. on March 10, 2014, Resolution was presented by Board Member Mark Singer, Support offered by Board Member Paula Clingerman.
