BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE STRENGTH IS IN THE LORD Psalm 84:5 “Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” My Brethren, Comfort is not given to us when we are lighthearted and cheerful. We must travel the depths of emotion in order to experience comfort—one of God’s most precious gifts. We must experience discomfort in order to appreciate and enjoy the sweetness of His Comfort. We then must be prepared to become coworkers with Him. When the shadows of night—needed night—gather over the garden of our souls, when leaves close up and flowers no longer reflect any sunlight within their folded petals, and when we experience even the thickest darkness, we must remember that we will never be found wanting and that the comforting drops of heavenly dew fall only after the sun has set. It is the will of God our Father that wherever we go through the Valley of Baca, which is the Valley of Sorrow, the Valley of Weeping, we will turn it around and make it a place of springs! We are to be the World Changers! We are History Makers and will match on from strength to strength till we victoriously come Home in Zion before the Lord our God! Strengthen yourself today for you are blessed to have put your strength in the Lord.
