BLIND BOY IN DANGER ! SUPER URGENT, PLEASE SHARE 1 YR OLD QUARTERBACK, ONE OF 9 INNOCENT DOGS ON THE KILL LIST FOR TOMORROW AT NYC ACC!! ***MVP*** A volunteer writes: Quarterback is a very handsome boy that has quickly become a serious contender for my MVP (most valued pup.) Though he is young, Quarterback has very limited vision - it seems he can only see shadows. When I call to him or squeak a toy hes curious, but often looks in the wrong direction. He also bumps into things, but as his stay grows longer he is getting much better - he seems to know the lay of the land now! Despite his impairment, Quarterback is very much a playful, happy dog! He loves to go outside and has a very charming walk; he sort of glides along and is always wagging his tail. Sometimes he grabs the leash and growls when he is excited, but it seems playful. He is still wiggly and Ive never had a problem getting him to stop - its almost like he is trying to act tough! He is always quick to relieve himself outside and seems to have housetraining. When weve encountered other dogs he seems very interested in a friendly way. Quarterback even loves to play fetch! Though it sometimes takes him a while to find the ball, he eagerly runs in its direction and when he finds it he loves to push it with his nose or bat it between his paws. He is extremely loving. When he finds me in the yard he is so excited and leans into my lap for pets. Do you have a spot on your team for this sweet boy??
