BOA Open Week BOA is a 14-19 Academy and is 100% selective with places offered to those that can demonstrate the relevant aptitude (talent, ability) in their chosen pathway at the aptitude workshop. We recruit to Year 10 and to Year 12 as all of our main pathway courses are for a two year duration. The process for admission to start in September 2014 will commence with our Open Week in October 2013. If you intend to submit an application to start at BOA from September 2014 then you are advised to attend at least one of the events during the Open Week. The Open Week will be held from Monday 21st October 2013 to Friday 25th October 2013. There will be morning visits to the Academy and two evening events during that week. There will be one evening event for prospective Year 10 applicants on Tuesday 22nd October 2013 and one evening event for prospective Year 12 applicants on Thursday 24th October 2013. The evening events will commence from 6:30PM with the first presentation from the Principal starting at 7:00PM. The morning tours will start at 09:15AM, with the last tour starting at 10:45AM. No appointments are necessary for any of the Open events. As mentioned, you should try and attend at least one event to pick up the brand new Prospectus and new Application Form (for September 2014 start) which you should ideally submit by Christmas 2013.
