BOC Poloz: Due to inflation concerns, some downside risk is present. ECB Draghi: No deflation risk but remaining cautious as economy still weak and unevenly recovering. BOE McCafferty: Not in a rush to raise rates even if unemployment reaches 7%. IMF: Japan and Euro zone should plan an exit to easing policies. (Slightly weird seeing how Japan still has some time to go while Europe is actually looking into more easing) NZ: December PMI at 56.4 versus 57 for November. Strong end for 2013. Spain: unemployment remaining steady at 26%. French Man. PMI at 48.8 versus 47.6. Services at 48.6 versus 48.2. Dollar seeing weakness across the board with Majors trading higher. Euro around the 1.3600 area on improving PMI data out of France. Metals weak as they grind lower and slowly break support. Gold hit low 1230s this morning. Crude Oil extremely bullish but corrections on the horizon. Equities suffering from profit taking action for 2 days in a row now. More downside is possible but value buying is looming in the background. Asian equities ending mostly lower with Nikkei 225 down 0.79% while Shanghai comp. ended 0.47% lower. Global index futures mixed so far this morning. Dax down 0.23% while Euro stoxx 50 flat.
