BOCH DEVOTIONAL: “Your sin not remembered” When we talk - TopicsExpress

BOCH DEVOTIONAL: “Your sin not remembered” When we talk about being forgiven and repentance, there is need for us to talk about the fact that God remembers a believer’s sin no more. The prophet Jeremiah in (Jer 31:32-34) prophesied about the new testament creature and this same portion is quoted in (Heb 8:6-13), the covenant made is one to forgive all your sins which you receive when you accept Christ because he has paid it all and he crowns it up by not remembering them. This is too much, no wonder it is too good to be true. Not only are your sins forgiven but also not remembered. You know that God is love (1 John 4:8) and in (1 Corin 13:5, NIV) we are made to understand that love has no record of wrongs. This is now too much. God doesn’t keep a record of wrongs so if you made a mention of them in your prayers then you only remind yourself. The father has no business with wrong doings, he has chosen you for perfection and that is what he sees, start seeing like him. Rejoice in the Lord because he is concerned about the good in you which nature you receive by him dwelling in you. Child of God, sin was dealt with in the body of Christ and the chapter was closed and now there remains only perfection of the saints. Receive and walk in perfection. The question may come about how then you should express yourself in prayer. All you have to do is receive mercy. You thank God because he has forgiven you of that which you have done through Christ and then speak the life of God. You then get up and live as who God has made you to be in him. Thought: if God doesn’t remember your sin, how then can he put your parents’ and grandparents’ sin on your account? Confession: Thank you father because you have forgiven me all my sin and in addition you don’t remember my sins. Halleluyah.
