BOOK PAPER SCISSORS November 23, 2013 - 10am-4pm at the Free Library of Philadelphia, Parkway Central One of our Signature Events, Book Paper Scissors is an annual celebration of book arts, printmaking, and paper crafts, hosted by the Free Library, and featuring a variety of artists as well as educational workshops. This is a great opportunity to show and sell work, and see what other artists are doing. Artists books, blank books, prints, paper jewelry, and paper-based art are welcome. Each artist will get a six-foot space to display work. The artist must arrive at 9:00 am to set up and is responsible for staffing the table during the fair. Tables are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Sharing tables is allowed. Registration is available now on our website. (Please note - with our new web system, members must login with their accounts and return to the event page to see the member option on the registration form.) CALL FOR ARTISTS BOOKS & PRINTS PCB is calling for donations of artists books and other print and paper media for a new Artists Book Library. These books will be made available at public and family events to educate and spread the word (and love) of artists books! All book donations must be able to withstand handling.
