BOSS VIDEO UPDATE -RE-UNITED WITH HIS BEST FRIEND ALANA DONATE HERE TO HELP BOSS & READ HIS FULL STORY...k9aid.org/cs_cause/the-story-of-boss-his-future-looks-bleak/ After a car accident Boss lost contact with his girlfriend Alana, now they have been re-united (see video). We learned about this poor dog Boss from Falko Duwe who runs the Street Animal Project Pattaya single handedly. This kind man feeds, treats & pays to sterilize street dogs in Pattaya and tries to help find the vulerable ones safer places to live. Boss is a very friendly street dog whom Falco had known for many years. A few weeks ago a taxi driver told Falco that Boss had got run over by a car and he was now injured close to a 7-11 shop in Pattaya. Falco immediately went to the shop and searched the whole area but couldnt find Boss and feared hes died and been disposed of. Not giving up, Falco returned to the area again the next day and finally found Boss tucked behind a tree. He couldnt move so he took Boss to a veterinary clinic, fearing the worst. Boss underwent an x-ray which showed that his hip was broken, but his spine was ok. Furthermore he was diagnosed with a venereal tumor so Falco had to leave Boss at the clinic for a couple of days for further examinations and recovery, as he was in very poor condition and needed IV fluids. Surgery on his hip was being considered. After a couple of days the vet informed Falco that surgery was not necessary so he took Boss back to a foster to recouperate. Sadly its now been discovered that the nerve in his front leg is damaged & he may lose his leg. Boss will need several treatments of chemotherapy for his veneral tumor & after recovering from that the decision regarding amputation needs to be made and also where Boss will live. The foster home in Pattaya is over capacity with approx 50 dogs residing there already. Its possible Boss could be placed in a temple, but with a disability, it may be difficult for him to survive there. First we have to get him well & his treatment costs are getting expensive. As a street dog, Boss has no support apart from a few funds donated by Falcos Street Animal Project Pattaya. Could some of our supporters help with treatment costs for Boss so he can look forward to a better life??
