BOTSWANA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ( Post available at BCET) 1.TECHNICIAN IN SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY The Department of Applied Maths and Science urgently needs services of a Temporary Full-time Technician for one year. Experience and Qualifications: •Candidates must have a Diploma/Certificate in Science Laboratory Technology Duties and Responsibilities: •Setting up of experiments for Diploma/Certificate Students taking Biology/Chemistry/Physics courses •Maintenance of laboratory equipment •Inventory •Purchasing of equipment and consumables •Administration and safe keeping of stock •Maintenance of Biology/Chemistry/Physics laboratories •Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department Duties will be carried out under the supervision of the teaching staff of the department and will be reporting to the Head of Department. 2.BOREHOLE TECHNICIANS Borehole section is urgently in need of 2 borehole/groundwater technicians on Temporary-Full Time one year contract. Experience and Qualifications: •Candidates must have National Craft Certificate (NCC) or Diploma in Borehole mechanics or equivalent. •At least 3 years experience in Borehole industry, doing engine repairs and maintenance, pumps and mono head assembly; and mono pumps and submersible pumps installation.
