BOWLO REPORT From Monday 17/6/2013 Wednesday, June 19– After a very busy long weekend of bowls, 30 bowlers lined up for the “Macksville Goodyear Auto Care” Club Selected Triples. This week’s $10 voucher winners were Jim Sinclair, Terry Snowden and Jim Phillips. Second place $7 voucher winners were Jack Young, Ken Brown and Geoff Hartman. Third place $5 voucher winners were John Schneider, Bob Dunkley and Reg Thompson. Schooners for the lucky losers went to Darren Jones, Don Lean and Tom Lloyd (visitor from Colac). The $15.00 lucky bowler winner was Nelson Lawrence; once again the Jackpot was not won. The next jackpot prize will be $300 and must be won. Friday, June 21- The Nominated Men’s Triples attracted an excellent turnout of 76 bowlers. The $15 voucher winners were on rink 12; Mick Ellison, Mick Targett and Nelson Lawrence. The $10 voucher winners were on rink 3; Coco Harrison, Tom Lloyd and Tony Urquhart. The $7 voucher winners were on rink 1; Don Lean, Keith Barnett and Chris Evans. The Schooners for the lucky losers went to, Bill Watts, Darryl Lawrence and John Hogarth. The $15.00 lucky bowler winner was Peter Hill; once again the Jackpot was not won. Next time around the Jackpot will be $540. Raffle winners were; John Eather, Bob Boyle and Garry Bax. Garry, just returned from reliving his Submariners days at a reunion in North Qld, taking out two prizes. District President’s Reserve Singles Final June15 - Tony Stokes had a win 31/23 over Wayne Genge at Woolgoolga. Tony now progresses to the Zone playoff where he will meet Johann Hrabak from Westport.
