BOXER FOLKS, take note! It was another long, doggy-day for the mutt crew. Ive put just about 60000 miles on the mutt mobile in just over a year.. We are MOVIN and SHAKIN though! Today, I met these two boxers at the city shelter at 201 south mount Vernon Ave. They have been there for quite sometime and are extremely adorable. Youd be surprised how far a little training Cesars Way goes on a shelter dog. Each were thought to have aggression issues but were easily tamed with some simple leash work and proper introductions. We also discussed, with great results, holding training sessions for the staff at the shelter to help empower them when working with often scared, disoriented and excited shelter dogs. This is one of my dreams: to help facilitate adoptions through relatively simple principles of pack leadership, with the necessary follow through. The white boxer is a girl and the fawn, a boy, and each have tremendous potential to be worthy and loving companions. Please share and help save their lives.
