BREAKING: According to our CBS affiliate in Chicago, former Mishawaka police officer Mark Fedder is facing misdemeanor charges for "attempted obstruction of justice" in Lake County, Illinois. Fedder was arrested in Chicago over the weekend. He is accused of trying to take a gun into a golf tournament. WSBT has confirmed detectives from Illinois called the Mishawaka police department today, asking for more information about Fedder. He resigned from his job as an officer in Mishawaka in 2012 to work in the private sector. His arrest information lists his address in a Chicago suburb. The Lake County prosecutor said today Fedder could face additional charges.
