The FBU has announced it will meet for an emergency meeting on the issue tomorrow (02/11) to discuss the dismissal. A protest is also planned for tomorrow against Bucks and MK Fire for the dismissal. Mr. Matthew’s dismissal has also attracted attention from local politicians. Speaking on Facebook, MK South Green Party candidate Samantha Pancheri said, “Outrageous action from Bucks Fire. We must defend the right to strike, especially in the face of the disgraceful assault on pensions that firefighters are battling now.”
