Ive done a few challenges over the past 5 years. All with Parkinsons disease. 10km races, Half and full Marathons, ultras, road, trail, ran the Bavarian Alps and did some triathlons.... In 2011, I traversed 1,457 miles from London to Rome and met the Pope. Along the way I met, raced and made friends with some truly remarkable people, who gave their time, help and support. The list is too long but you are in my thoughts. The 11th October 2012 was the day I completed my 3,256 mile Trans American Challenge. I want to thank my crew, my sponsors (Orbea, Buff, Saucony, Madison, Volkswagen, The Clorox Corp and The deVere Group) for believing in me, all the wonderful people we met and who showed such great support and hospitality and gave assistance, The BBC, The Cure Parkinsons Trust and the Michael J Fox Foundation and Team Fox, the list goes on. Without the TAC 2012, Athens Marathon, Shanghai Marathon, Amazon, Dolomites and Rocky mountains ultras, the Otter Trail and the Dubai Marathon - I would not have completed my 10milllionmetres on schedule. So Thank you...and thank you too, if you donated via my website...alexflynn.co.uk But it isnt over. Not yet anyway. I have some huge plans and should they get the green light (finance and sponsors), Ill let you know. Until then, keep the faith! There is hope. Above all #keepmoving The photos are from TAC 2012
