BREAKING. I will be breaking my Polo in the next couple of weeks. I have yet to sort out a full list of prices for parts etc, but Im just giving advanced notice to anyone after parts from it. Everything is available (within reason). I will copy and paste my for-sale ad specs for you to get an idea of whats going. Lights: -GTi Xenon headlights -Euro spec n/s tail light (all red. No reverse light) -Aftermarket clear front repeaters Engine and gearbox: -1.6 16v GTi AVY engine, with shallow sump conversion, and 4-1 stainless manifold. (Timing belt, tensioners, water pump and clutch all replaced at the time of the conversion, so 2k miles old) -1.4 8v gearbox (ratios are great for the GTi engine, revs 2.4k @ 60mph in 5th -Custom straight-through centre section exhaust with powerflow hidden backbox -GTi downpipe and CAT -BMC CDA induction kit with 90 degree silicone intake pipe Wheels: Bullet Sixty steels as follows: -15x7 et25 with 165/45r15 nankang as-1s. -15x9 et15 with 185/45r15 nankang ns-2s. All tyres approx 1500miles old with even wear, and 6mm+ tread Exterior: DIY respray in Fiat Campovolo Grey 2k solid colour, every bit of visible car including door checks is painted, apart from the engine bay and underside of the bonnet. (I have ~1L left which can be thrown in) Bodywork/smoothing as follows: -boot handle deleted. (New popper mechanism required unfortunately) -rear stress lines (bellow tail lights) welded up and smoothed -petrol filler cap smoothed -side repeaters on wings deleted -number plate recess on front bumper rubstrips deleted -aerial hole on roof smoothed (radio still works) -n/s and o/s stubby wing mirrors -NK tuning fibreglass sideskirts -all arches rolled flat -front arches flared at the front, with bumper mountings removed -3 n/s and o/s chassis leg notches, fully welded and sealed Interior mods: -Momo Team 300mm steering wheel with Momo boss kit -headlining wrapped in black acoustic carpet, with A, B, and C pillars painted satin black -Polo 9n 6-disc CD changer with original 6n2 gamma cassette player -Dual cupholders -GTi leather gearstick gaiter -Mk3 Golf black colour concept leather seats (heated, but with no loom present) -Modified AVY interior loom, which runs climatronic control, comfort control module, electric sunroof, manual headlight adjusters -GTi clocks, with gloss black shroud/cowling Brakes: -All caliper and carriers have been professionally powdercoated in BBS Gold -Front setup converted to 280mm with G60 caliper carriers and GTi calipers -PAGID front discs 1.5k miles old -rear disc conversion to 256mm with all new PAGID brake lines and handbrake cables -major brake failure warning light and ABS light illuminating on dash because no rear ABS sensors are fitted, and one front ABS sensor is faulty. Car brakes fine, it just doesnt have functioning ABS) Other points: Originally a 2000 Polo SE 1.4 8v. Conversion declared and v5 altered to show this. Shell mileage: 98k Engine mileage: 74k
