BREAKING NEWS 8:00AM FRI 25/10 - Lithgow Police are reporting a triple stabbing in Wallerawang overnight. At around 6:30pm a 29 year old man was walking in Cary Ave, Wallerawang when he was attacked by 3 males. One of them is alleged to have stabbed the man 3 times in the leg. 2 other men came to the aid of the victim, and they too were attacked:- one of them also stabbed. The 29 year old victim and a 25 man have since been flown by Air Ambulance helicopter to the Westmead Hospital for treatment . Soon after the incident Police arrested 3 males in nearby Junction Street, Wallerawang. An 18 year old youth has been refused bail and will appear in Court again later today, while another 18 year old youth and a 23 year old man have been granted bail to appear in Court on the 21st November. Police investigations continue.
