BREAKING NEWS...Anderson city councilman Rodney Chamberlain (D) has released a statement tonight about his 2015 mayoral candidacy. Mr. Chamberlain said that this week marks a new journey, one that is (a) plan to make the city of Anderson, Indiana a place that everyone wants to be a part of. Chamberlain plans to ramp up his bid to unseat Kevin Smith (R) as mayor of Anderson in what is expected to be a highly contested Democrat primary. Mr. Chamberlain mentioned his bi-partisan approach to governing which has already attracted the public endorsement of at least one elected Republican officeholder.
