BREAKING NEWS!! LOL! Sooooo today, I along w/ a former culinary school classmate catered a lunch for a small film crew & their client MARTHA STEWART! I found out yesterday that I would be providing her w/ lunch -not expecting to meet her of course, but we did. She came into the on-site kitchen & said hello chefs & proceeded to ask what was on the menu. She was only interested in FRESH, locally sourced food & grilled salmon! I actually served her plate as she sat outside on a picnic table talking on the phone! She really enjoyed the local cheese board, picked at her lovely fresh local greens dressed in a citrus vinaigrette, took a bite out of her strawberry & rhubarb puff pastry, picked at the pickled watermelon radishes from the farro salad, skipped the salmon but ate the pork tenderloin w/ balsamic roasted red pepper & onion WRAP I made for the crew!..& she ate it all!!!! She said everything was nice....Ill take it!!! She was mostly interested in the AMISH and wanted SHOO FLY PIE!!!! (which one of the crew members got for her!) I watched her eat the whole slice hahaha! Unfortunately, I was not allowed to take pics :( ......... Something I can check off my list of things I would never think of doing!! lol!
