PDP DENIES OKOWA CLEARANCE There are strong indications that Senator Ifeanyi Okowa was not cleared by the Screening Committee that met in Portharcourt last week to clear 98 governorship aspirants from the South South geo-political zone. The source close to a member of the committee said the refusal to grant him passage was as a result of verified anti party activities as well as fraud related activities. He was said to have directed the committee to return the 2 million naira he gave the committee which coerced the aspirants pay the sum as the perquisite for screening. Attempts to speak with Ft.
