BREAKING NEWS. ... SPEAKER TYLER TROUBLE DEEPENS The Liberia Anti Corruption Commission (LACC) has recommended for prosecution Representative Adolph Lawrence and Speaker J. Alex Tyler. The recommendation was made on Tuesday at the commission office by the LACC Commission Cllr. Augustine Toe. The LACC revealed that the Speaker and Rep Lawrence violated among other things Section 9, Resolution #: 003 of the Public Procurement and Concessions Agreement (PPCC) by pre-financing a government contract that exceeded the PPCC threshold of 10, 000 USD and above. According to the LACC Commissioners (Cllr. Toe), the Speaker and Rep. Lawrence inflated the dubious amount owed the Consultant from 12, 000 USD to 25, 000USD the investigation stated. The investigation started when members of the LACC was informed by the Consultant on Tyler and Lawrence’s scheme when they were proceeding to the Bank to en-cash the dubious 25,000USD check—where Rep. Lawrence was arrested in the Bank by LACC agents who were already posted in the Bank. LACC also divulged that they are still investigating the over One Million United States Dollars given the House of Representatives for the nationwide Draft Oil law consultation. DETAILS TO COME...
