YOUR TURN: This weeks Your Turn segment goes to Kerry Foil. Foil sent a rebuttal to our commentary criticizing Congressman Vance McAllister for his hypocrisy. Foil thinks were being biased against Republicans. In Kerry Foils words: We do deserve better. You are right. Just like we deserve someone in Congress other than Edwin W. Edwards. However, your TV station seems to be almost giddy for the fact that he is running for Congressman. When he announced that he was running, I didnt see you condemning that. Sure, Mr. Edwards has paid his time, but can you paint over the stripes on a Zebra? Would it be fair to compare what McAllister did to the many, many things that Edwards did during his life? Im talking corruption, womanizing, etc., etc., etc. Where was your editorial on him? Is it just an opportunity to bash a Republican? I think its called selective journalism. Thats Kerry Foils turn.
