BREAKING NEWS!!! This press release was released and broadcasted on my wall some few minutes ago by some aggrieved members…. I am wondering what is going on in Kwara State. Efforts to contact some of my Political colleagues were not successful. Pls can someone confirm if the below statement is true and pls it urgent? Regards. ALHAJI SULEIMAN .A. ANIFOWOSHE (PDP KWARA CENTRAL) KWARA CENTRAL SHUNNED SELF IMPOSED ENDORSEMENT RALLY. The self endorsement rally purportedly put in place by the governors aide Bibire Ajape from Kwara Central turned out to be a shadow of itself. The endorsement rally which took place at the government house on Wednesday was a disappointment as the attendance was a foul cry of the expected crowd. Those who attended the rally had claimed that they were sponsored to the rally. By the government to give semblance of Kwara Central desire to have Gov Abdulfatah back and that was why the expected crowd was not recorded as many of us were bulldozed into the unknown rally. A source at the government house confirmed that the body language at the rally confirms the non acceptability of Gov. Fatai by the people. It would be recalled that penultimate week the Kwara South Elders were attacked at a Meeting in Ajase-Ipo where the Second term bid of Gov. Abdulfatah was been discussed leaving several elders Injured Including a former State Party Chairman and a former Commissioner from the area. Ex- councilors on Wednesday at the Government house Ilorin openly rejected Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed overtures as they vowed to vote him out in 2015. The aggrieved councilors who expressed disdained over the treatment melted on them by the governor could not be cowed from expressing their rejection of Gov Fatai for second Term. The Interjection of Alh. Ajape Bibire the Special Adviser Political worsened the situation as the ex elected officials accused the governor of thieving and thus reigning unprintable names on the embattled Gov. All efforts to pacify the aggrieved groups fell on their deaf hear. He had gone to the local government for Inspection of projects but was booed and stoned by the people who openly declared him unwanted. The second term bid of governor Abdulfatah suffered another major setback across the State as he was booed and chased out of Erin Ile community in Oyun local government on Tuesday.
