BREAKING NEWS: We made it into the SJUSD Newsletter Say something, do something:’ Community invited to BRAVE anti-bullying conference Oct. 12 Not all children who are bullied show signs that it is happening. Children who are being bullied often do not report it. If communities can develop a shared vision about peer abuse and its devastating impact, it will be easier to combat. Teachers, families and school communities are invited to attend the Say Something, Do Something: Be BRAVE Conference. The Oct. 12 conference is filled with solution-focused prevention and intervention strategies that will help everyone recognize the subtleties of peer abuse. Join BRAVE, educators, mental wellness and legal experts, law enforcement, students and others in a gathering designed to give people tools to reduce peer abuse.
