BREAKING: The stolen George Rodrigue painting has been found. Police say a group of men found two paintings, lying against the Omni Royal Hotel at the corner of St. Louis Street and Royal Street. One of them recognized one of the paintings as possibly being the “Wendy and Me” painting valued at $250,000.00 that was stolen from the Rodrigue Gallery Tuesday. The men brought the paintings to the Eighth District Station. Police are still looking for the suspect who stole the painting.
