#BRIDALREQUEST! Can you help? We have a bridal request: Im looking to get married abroad and have a small wedding, as neither I or my partner want to spend a fortune on a huge event (as we feel the money could be invested into other resources). Trouble is that our families are completely different (in values, attitudes, class, background, religious and spiritual beliefs and much more). With this, Im afraid a small, intimate wedding would cause awkwardness and I really dont want to be a compare at my own wedding. Personally, I would go abroad just the two of us, but my partner is worried about offending people. I know her parents would be very offended and upset. I dont want to cause animosity or hurt peoples feelings, however I am completely daunted by it all. To the point I envision how it would be and get anxious about this. Any feedback would be appreciated.
