BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut man has been charged with threatening to kill police officers and their families in retaliation for the killings of unarmed black men by white police officers in Missouri and New York. Twenty-eight-year-old Alexander Rosa of Bridgeport was arrested Friday on charges including threatening and harassment. The Connecticut Post reports that a state judge in Bridgeport ordered Rosa to be detained on $75,000 bail and to undergo a mental health evaluation. State police say Rosa called 911 on his cell phone and threatened to kill officers and their families if police keep killing people. Rosa has several other pending criminal cases involving charges of strangulation, assault and other crimes. His public defender in the other cases didn’t immediately return a phone message Friday evening. wtnh/2014/12/26/bridgeport-man-charged-with-threatening-police/
