BRIDLINGTON: TSB ARMED ROBBERY UPDATE – DID YOU SEE POSSIBLE SUSPECTS IN SCARBOROUGH? Officers investigating a robbery at Lloyds/TSB bank on Manor Street, Bridlington last weekend are continuing their enquiries. Police were called at around 0910hrs on Saturday 20 September 2014 with reports of an armed robbery. During the incident two men wearing masks threatened four staff members before tying them up and demanding cash as the staff prepared to open up this morning. Following a CCTV appeal earlier this week in connection with the VW Golf in Scarborough, Humberside Police received a call from the public reporting a potential sighting. The witness recalled being sat in traffic on Filey Road about 0945hrs on Saturday 20 September and seeing three men getting changed near a white car in an alleyway between Esplanade Gardens and Esplanade Road, Scarborough. Police are how appealing to anyone who saw these men in the area to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 206 of 20/09/14 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111. Three men aged 50, 27 and 23 who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
