As we solemnly celebrate Mothers day today, I on behalf of the concerned members of Umuada Di Igbo Mma and all women around the world are united together in prayer for divine intervention to necessitate our daughters and sisters early and safe return to their homes. April 14, 2014, marked yet another sad narrative in the history of Nigeria. Dozens of heavily armed criminal insurgents by the name Boko Haram rolled into the sleepy remote little town of Chibok, Borno State Nigeria and kidnapped innocent school girls who were housed in a government school for their WAEC exam. In about a dozen convoy of pickup trucks, these men shipped out nearly 240 helpless emotionally traumatized girls into the dense forest. As a mother and a human being, I have struggled to understand what kind of people under the disguise of religion would commit such unfathomable atrocity. The wave of worldwide outrage is growing against these evil narcissistic juntas and it is only a matter of time for justice to reign. Please join this movement!!!
