BT Cotton no more recommended now. It failed exactly as predicted - TopicsExpress

BT Cotton no more recommended now. It failed exactly as predicted by agro-ecologists when they opposed its launch. Meanwhile, one Indian farmer dies by suicide every 30 minutes. Monsanto and Sharad Pawar & daughter Supriya Sule joined together to form Mahyco, a company when Sharad Pawar was agriculture minister for 15 yrs....He forced farmers to buy Monsanto seeds and pesticides and the crops failed so the farmers become debt ridden and commited suicide. Over 10,000 farmers have committed suicide in Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Andhra etc... They have made BT cotton, BT wheat , BT corn , BT brinjal etc. So many crops with pesticide and poison inside that if you eat this you contract disease and die. Cotton seed oil from BT cotton is deadly poison. - Gopal Narayan
