This definitely hit the spot after yesterdays hardcore GST deadlift day. While a proper deadlift day shouldnt leave your lower back fried, it always feel good to loosen up that general area (lower back/glutes/hams). BTW, if youre wondering, a proper deadlift day should tax the glutes, hams, and traps primarily. You should not be walking out of the gym with a lower back pump or be feeling your lower back working more than the glutes/hams/traps during your deadlift sets! If youre feeling your lower back the most, youre not doing it right and you need to focus on arching that lower back harder and driving forward with the glutes. Remember, deadlifting is a push movement, not a pull. https://youtube/watch?v=uxbD4KpU2z4 growthstimulustraining
