BUFFYs Blog: Just have to share. Didnt 100% feel like a walk this morning. The number 6s were sore. The kick starters were aching. But when I looked outside - I realised I could not pass it all up. It was hot - but a breeze was breezing and the road was calling. So I set off - kitted out in blue camo pants and taking in all the wonders around me. For those of you who may have lost Faith along the way of life -I was reassured of mine this morning. A simple thing - man may plant and nurture a tree - but man certainly cannot grow it into the splendor it eventually reaches. Just saying. And then I did it!!!! Yes I did. I climbed Jacobs Ladder - about 242 steep steps. It was surprisingly not as tough as I expected it to be. Then I crossed through Kings Park and climbed down Kokoda Trail steps. Being from South Africa - I found myself constantly looking back at a dude that just had to be following me with bad intentions and I picked up my pace. I lost him. Thankfully. Now that I think about it - I am quite sure he was just making his way to his office!!!! But like I said - I am from South Africa. My Faith kicked in again and I carried on and I headed home. My eyes made their way to the Swan River and as I took in the beauty of the water gleaming as the suns rays bounced all over it - I saw something. I rubbed my eyes as the vision is sadly somewhat deteriorating these days!!!! And I took another look. I could hardly believe what I saw. 3 Dolphins playing. I was NOT seeing things and Im not making this up - honest - cos 2 tourists confirmed it for me. Thats right people - 3 Dolphins frolicking in the Swan River. My already good mood got better and my Spirit was lifted higher than Jacobs Ladder. I made it home - number 6s still a bit sore, as are the kick starters - but my heart is soaring.
