BUHARI IS OVER QUALIFY TO CONTEST FOR THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT In attent to discredit Muhammadu Buhari, some loyalists and sympathizers of PDP said he is too old to contest for the position of the president. To defend their lies, they said Britain and United States have young President. But, always forget to tell us that these men do not tolerate and encourage corruption. They forget to tell us that these men do not use government agencies to harass, intimidate, and oppress the opposition parties. In the same America they use as example produced a 78 years old senator in the just concluded election. A 78-old grand father won a senatorial seat in United States in last month election. He defeated a seating senator more younger than him. Nigeria constitution gave every Nigerian the right to contest in any elective position as far you have the minimum qualifications. The only people exempted are the minors, the insane and ex - convicts. There is no where the constitution mentioned over age. If a confirm pen robber, a fugitive and a launderer can contest for Senate, I dont see the reason a man who have served the country honorably without criminal records should be ask not to contest for the position of president. Leadership has nothing to do with age but has everything to do with sincerity, commitment and willingness to serve. The Bible tells us that Moses was 80yrs when God mandate him to lead Israel out of Egypt. In simple terms he became Israel leader at the age of 80. The same God choose David who was very young to be the king of Israel. Evidently, God have shown us clearly that leadership have nothing to do with age but everything to do with commitment and responsibility. For those who said Buhari is too old are the real enemies of Nigeria. They have run out of their lies and falsehoods. They are confuse and lost. They are fast losing out and have become irrelevant and outdated to the reality on ground.
