BURGLARY/ARREST / K-9 participation On August 3, 2014, at 2:31 a.m., officers assigned to the city of Jurupa Valley responded to an alarm at the True Value Hardware, located in the 8600 block of Limonite Ave., Jurupa Valley. When officers arrived, they saw a male suspect flee into the business. With the use of a K-9 unit, the suspect was found hiding in the loft. The male was uncooperative and would not come out from hiding. The K-9 was deployed and the male was subsequently taken into custody. The male was transported to a local area hospital for sustaining a dog bite injury, prior to being booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for burglary. Arrested for burglary was 30-year-old Jose Gonzalez, a resident of Riverside.
