Monica Gleaton Im a single parent had my first kid at 14. I have never received child support nor AFDC. I have always provided for my children. I dropped out of school and went back at 21 and received my GED and certification in nursing within 5 months and 21 days as of May 28, 1997. I dont regret anything in my life. I only could have done more. As of today, I still provide for my family and friends when needed, regardless of how they treat me and for some of the ones that talk down on me. I hung around all kinds of people but with Gods grace and my children, I always kept in my mind the future and my childrens well being. Im proud of me and I support the STV movement cause I once was a confused, immature, young, and dumb. I support this movement to better the upcoming generation to do better and have more without hurting others to get there. I respect you for presenting this movement Shuron. Now Im a grandmother of six, and two prayin too enter the world- and I feel great!
