BURSARY FAQ2: WHAT MUST I BRING TO APPLY FOR A BURSARY? All students, including senior students who want to apply for a bursary must bring along the following documents because without these documents you will not be able to complete your registration for your new year/semester of studies. • 5 x Certified ID copies • Academic results of applicant • Proof of residence • ID or birth certificates of all household members • Proof of income of guardian(s) • If any guardian is unemployed an affidavit stating this must be supplied • If a parent/guardian is deceased a certified copy of death certificate must be supplied • A Sassa letter or pension slip must be given where parents/guardians are pensioners • Marital status documents where necessary must be provided. ( A certified copy of the marriage certificate, a certified copy of divorce decree letter or a certified copy of death certificate if married, divorced or widowed)
