BUSHFIRE EMERGENCY WARNING: EDEN VALLEY Time Message Issued: 23:53, 17/01/2014 CFS advises that a serious bushfire is burning out of control at Eden Valley in the Southern Barossa Valley. There is a risk to lives and homes. The fire is generally burning in a Northerly Direction and is immediately threatening, Truro, Keyneton, Graetztown, Towitta, Moculta, Eden Valley and Sanderson. Those in these areas need to activate their Bushfire Survival Plan. Only leave now if the path is safe to do so. The fire is erratic and conditions may change quickly. There remains a threat to Angaston and surrounds should the wind direction change. People in Angaston need to be aware of the fire and be prepared to leave if their Bushfire Survival Plan is to do so. The fire remains fast moving and those in the area of the fire need to remain aware of local conditions and monitor the situation.
