In 1989 15th April 96 people died during the Liverpool/Nottingham Forest football match at Hillsborough Stadium, more than 700 were injured all through a human crush/stampede. In 2001 11th April 43 people died because of a stampede during the Pirates/Chiefs match at Ellis Park. The Hillsborough tragedy has been immortalized, its not just a tokenism, in many things Liverpool does they always remember the Hillsborough 96, a Liverpool player was fired for laughing during one of the memorials (a bit extreme perhaps but...). Meanwhile the Ellis Park 43...*coughs*...No one remembers, Chiefs and Pirates have failed to show they care.
