BUTLER COUNTY MAN KILLED IN EXCAVATOR ACCIDENT An excavator accident yesterday afternoon has claimed the life of a Poplar Bluff man. Authorities say the incident happened at around 3:40 pm at Roxy Lake, off of County Road 450, when an excavator being operated by Keith Robertson slid down the bank of the lake and overturned into the water. Rescue workers were able to pry open a window of the excavator and extract Robertson. He was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center when he died a short time later.
