BY: News Focus Reporter The government of Malawi will conduct a one year world Aids campaign from 1st December 2013 to 30th November 2014. World Aids day serves to raise awareness on HIV and AIDS and gives opportunity to Malawians to reflect on dangers of the epidemic and impact it has caused at individual, household, community and national levels. In press statement signed by secretary for nutrition, HIV/AIDS in the office of the president, the campaign will be held under the theme ‘Getting to zero; zero new HIV infections, Zero AIDS related deaths and zero discrimination’.
