Baaaaaaaaaaaaad news for the Human-Life-on-Earth haters and the Luddite-Malthusian scaremongers -- but good news for those of us who do NOT believe Mans proper attitude towards himself is one of spitting in his own face: . . . reports of the planets imminent demise have been somewhat exaggerated; in fact were doing just fine. . . . Global warming will have a negligible effect on human morbidity and the spread of infectious diseases but will, on balance, be beneficial because cold is a deadlier threat to the human species than warmth. . . There is little if any evidence to support the IPCCs predictions of species extinction which are based mainly on computer models rather than hard data.
