Baby season has come to an end, its now time for raptor migration. Many immature birds will be starting on their first migration of their lives. Up to 80% of raptors will die during their first year, either due to starvation, sickness or being hit by cars. Raptors are not taught to look both ways before crossing the road, with their amazing vision if they spot a rodent on the opposite side of the road they will cross without checking to make sure that no cars are coming.
