Babysitting my daughters dachshund and sent her the following email this morning. (True story) GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS... The bad news is the whereabouts of A dog named Clifford is unknown. The good news is we have found a dog named Criminal who looks just like him and whos also a professional escape artist. The story... Not wanting the fragile Clifford to suffer from the oncoming cold front we diligently made a nice warm cozy home for him in our hallway since we would be out to to the wee hours Sunday night. We placed a nice sturdy gate barricaded by a heavy case of water and a filled clothes hamper as an added precaution. We supplied his domain with blankets, food and water, all the comforts of home. We returned home shortly after midnight to find an entire case of bottled water open and sprawled all over the hallway, many of the bottles were missing their labels and were difficult to identify. In addition poop was scattered in front of the laundry room doors. We havent gotten the DNA results back yet so we are uncertain as to who it belongs to but since Boogie was outside we have to deduce that it is either Cliffords or Criminals. Hope you guys come home from Florida soon as Your Dad and me are too old to be living with a criminal. Love, Mom
