Back by popular demand the Annual Pasquarello football game. Now we usually play in the street, but this year we went to Raymond park (Raymond & Upland) As i arrived i the park was filled with family. We fought over the kickoff. One smart member decided whatever direction the football lands is who will receive or kick, we decided to use the white line around the ball as direction. We tossed the ball and discovered it had 2 white lines. I wanted to quit right there and then. My brother Tom stated yelling about uneven sides and why we had the best players. I looked over my team and seen Danny who only throws the ball to my nephew JT. JT only throws the ball to Danny. We do have quarterbacks and they tell us what to do but i could stand there with a cup of coffee because no ball is ever tossed to me. Danny yelled at his kids and made them cry because one of the girls did not count before charging the quarterback, the other one wanted to play on the slide with her cousin but Danny said no you cant till we are finished. Brother tom continued to yell at daughter CC, who said she wanted to quit about 5 times. She finally left the game after danny tossed a 75MPH pass at Andria, who ducked and the ball hit CC in the eye & knocked CCs contact lens out. I think the ball stuck in her forehead for 2 seconds. My sister in law Carrie did not disappoint me as she showed up with her signature designer boots, gloves, and Gucci sunglasses. I think she had her hair and nails done by a professional for the game. She ran through the mud but always stopped to clean the boots before each play. After much cheating and unprofessional name calling we decided to quit and go see Grammy Fran. We did one of those foolish Secret Santa swaps and i just loved the BBQ folk i got. Its better then the other 26 ones i have. Well next year we will have a judge and fine people for penalties and unsportsmanlike conduct. CC was right, get hurt right away and sit in the warm window.
