Back from a very long test run of a beta model Roland Aira System 1. Talk about a ballsy sounding synth, excellent composite modelling, smooth filters that sound great with zero fx applied and in its current for is a bit like having an SH09, SH101 and SH2 all rolled into one. It is nowhere near as polite as anything Roland has made before and the envelopes are super snappy to say the least. Quite impressed truth be told. The composite modelling is excellent sounded better than the DSI X4 and Mopho to my ears when played side by side which is saying something considering it is analog circuit modelled and 100% digital.
